ULLR Snowboard Deckby ~tanoshiboy

I was commissioned by Hood River Distlillers Inc, through Ambient Creative to design this snowboard deck promoting their newest spirit, ULLR . They really didn't give any art direction except to "make it cool". Yeah, good one. I illustrated Ullr, the Nordic god of snow, inked it, and then vectorized it in Illustrator CS4. They supplied the logos and taglines. One of my favorite pieces of 2010. Copyright 2010 Hood River Distillers, Inc.

I designed it for hood rover distillers. It was a promotional piece for their ULLR nordic libation drink. That's all I know. Somebody sent me a pic of it earlier this year. [link]

wow dude this si seriously aweosme!

as a snowboarder, id love this as my board!! but do u think if i got u to get a board made with this design u could get rid of te peppermint schnapps logos???

Thanks, man! The copyright is held by the distiller company, so that's a negatory. They own the artwork. But if you commissioned me I could design something just as awesome and completely original. This lucky guy got himself a ULLR board though. [link]
