The Bolt: Time to go to Workby ~tanoshiboy

Vector illustration of my character The Bolt. I really wanted to give it an art deco almost 50s retro feel, but with a modern twist. I had a lot of fun on this one. Should I make it a print?

Illustrated completely in Illustrator CS4 except where I added texture for the background in Photoshop CS4.

The Bolt came way before that dumb dog movie. Back in 2002 I was shopping around my "The Bolt" animated series around LA. Someone must have come across my work and stole the name. Maybe someday the Bolt will fly, but definitely not on TV. It's just not worth it. But with the power of animation software and the web, it's possible the series might exist as mini cartoons.
