Sushi and Gazpacho vs Dr. Cyclope by tanoshiboy Sushi and Gazpacho vs Dr. Cyclope by tanoshiboy
This poster illustration was part of the save&destroy art show in Granada, Spain on March 5, 2012. Thanks to =ExoesqueletoDV [link] for asking me to be a part of this awesome collection of talented artists.

This scene depicts my characters Sushi and Gazpacho fighting the evil Dr. Cyclope (a cyclopee gone mad and bent on world domination)! If anything inspired this illustration, it was Dragonforce's song "Heroes of our time". Listen to it, but especially at the 6:00 mark.

I could just imagine them fighting this giant robot in the city and holding their right hands up in victory. You'll see what I mean. :) [link]

This illustration will definitely become a print very soon. Let me know your thoughts.

Adobe Illustrator CS4, all vector with texture added in Photoshop. (Please don't use w/o permission)

Man, I never saw that ad. That was pretty cool. No, Gazpacho doesn't wear old spice. He would say, in that sexy Spanish voice, "I do not wear old spice...only the scent of awesome...and victory, but mostly awesome."

great style, and nice depiction of the action. Bold colour choice suits it

Thank you, sir. I wanted to surround them with warm tones to make their blue costumes pop.
